Gatekeeper task order
- Meet the Gatekeeper in the Sewers and bring the requested Pizza.
- Collect the first Gate Key from the Burgers Burgers counter in the Mall food court.
- Speak to Rachel in the General Store and buy the second Gate Key.
- Start Adrian's Tentacle Cleanup to receive the Mall F1 Hallway Key.
- Complete Fishing in the Mall..? to summon and defeat the Mall Administrator.
- Collect the third Gate Key from the south office in the Mall F1 Hallways.
Gate Keys versus other key items
Basic Skeleton Keys can come from the knowledge answer in an Edwin event, Old Man Jackson's closet, or Mall Mine chests. Small Mine Keys can be found in the Mall Mines or bought from Mall Rat and the Forge Shop. Neither item replaces the numbered Gate Keys in the Gatekeeper task.

Common route blockers
- Third key area locked: begin Tentacle Cleanup and use the Mall F1 Hallway Key.
- Mall Administrator absent: complete the office worker's Stalktopus task first.
- Wrong key consumed: save Skeleton and Small Mine Keys for their matching lock types.
- A numeric keypad is asking for a code: use the related passcode guide rather than a consumable key.
